INGREDIENTS
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Black pepper, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- Blanch: Boil water and blanch green beans for 2-3 minutes until bright green. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- Sauté: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Combine: Add blanched green beans and lemon juice to the skillet. Sauté for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Season: Add black pepper to taste (no salt).
- Serve: Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy warm.
